New European tank from Nexter and KMW to get Leopard 2A7 chassis and Leclerc firepower

The French company Nexter and the German manufacturer Krauss-Maffei Wegmann showed the concept of a new European

battle tank. It is being developed as part of the Enhanced Main Battle Tank program.

The new combat vehicle will receive the mobility of the Germantank Leopard 2A7 and the firepower of the French Leclerc. The power plant, according to preliminary information, will be 1500 horsepower. The tank will be able to reach speeds of 65 km / h on the highway. The maximum power reserve will be 460 km. The overall dimensions of the combat vehicle are 10.45 x 3.85 x 3.24 m, and the weight is 61.5 tons.
