New iPhones will hold a charge almost 1.5 times longer

Traditionally, Apple hides the actual battery capacity of its devices. Developers from Cupertino

provide data only about autonomousoperating time of gadgets. Information about battery capacity is provided by enthusiasts and bloggers who disassemble Apple new products and study the components. Thus, information appeared online that the iPhone 12 mini comes with a 2,227 mAh battery, and the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro come with a 2,815 mAh battery. The iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphone, which is billed as the most autonomous of the line, is equipped with a 3,687 mAh battery.

At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy M51 model has a 7,000 mAh battery inside. It lasts for almost 53 hours of continuous calls for 17 hours.

It turns out that Apple is working on a solutiona long-standing problem with the iPhone and is preparing to release phones with increased battery capacity. For example, the iPhone 13 mini will receive 2,460 mAh, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro will have 3,095 mAh, the iPhone 13 Pro Max will be equipped with a 4,325 mAh battery. New batteries are needed to work with 120 Hz screens (in the Pro series) and Always on Display mode.

Apple will unveil the iPhone 13 series smartphones in September 2021.
