New iPod touch showed on renders: a mixture of iPhone 12, iPad Pro and iMac

According to rumors, this year Apple will introduce an updated iPod touch, which should be released in honor of the 20th anniversary of

the release of the first iPod. Insiders have published renderings of the new model, which, however, may differ from the final product.

What showed

Definitely the gadget shown in the renderingsdifferent from the 7th generation iPod touch, which debuted in 2019. The new model has thinner bezels and flat edges like the iPhone 12, no notch like the iPad Pro, and a white frame reminiscent of the new iMac 2021.

There is no Home button here, but there are two cameras - the main one and the front one. Most likely, Face ID is not worth the wait, but perhaps a fingerprint scanner will be built into the power button.
