Perhaps fans of the Resident Evil franchise can count on more than just the remake of the fourth in the near future

parts, but also for another updated version of the game.

The Japanese company has registered a trademark for Resident Evil Director's Cut, which may hint at a new remake and will most likely update the first part.

A game with the same name has already been released, andit was a slightly improved version of the first part of Resident Evil. Probably, after the super-successful updates of the second and third parts of the game, Capcom will not limit itself to the remake of the fourth part, which is currently in the final part of development, and will release a modern version of the very first part of RE.

At the same time, it remains possible that Capcom plans to re-release a completely different part of the series.
