New report claims Apple will launch iPhone 5-inch display this year

Mac Otakara's report, citing reliable sources in Taiwan, claims Apple this year

will introduce a 5-inch iPhone device, in addition to a device with a display size of 5.5 inches and a younger model, with a display size of 4.7 inches.

The report indicates that only the older modeliPhone devices in an all-glass case will offer users wireless charging technology. While other similar reports and rumors claim that Apple will provide wireless charging technology in all three new models this year.

Additionally, the report states that the companyApple will use the Qi wireless charging technology standard on iPhone devices, instead of Energous’s remote charging technology. The company from Cupertino will not include wireless charging devices in the package of the smartphone. That is, those wishing to try this technology are invited to purchase it separately. Another step may be the refusal to include the “Lightning” adapter on the 3.5 mm jack for the iPhone 8 device this year. With the numerous offers of headphones with a Lightning connector and the launch of AirPods on the market, Apple was obliged to take this step at some point in time.

This is not the first time we have received information thatApple will launch a 5-inch iPhone, but comparing today's message with previous rumors and leaks of information, I come to the conclusion that the chances of this report being prophetic are not very great.
