New “smart” sleep health watch

market players will show their new, promisingdevelopment. Thus, the French company Withings will show at the event a new “smart” watch, Withings ScanWatch, which received not only a number of basic functions, but also several options for health monitoring.

The company itself positions the new product as the firsthybrid “smart” watches that allow not only to measure ECG, but also to recognize in sleep a disease such as apnea, which is characterized by stopping pulmonary ventilation during sleep for more than 10 seconds. So, according to sources, Withings ScanWatch can detect a rare heartbeat or other symptoms, and then, in 30 seconds, automatically perform an ECG. In addition, the new product is also capable of analyzing blood oxygen saturation, monitoring activity and physical activity using the proprietary Health Mate application, which also collects all data on the quality and quantity of sleep.

It is reported that the device was equipped with an energy-intensive battery that is able to work autonomously for a month. As for the cost, Withings ScanWatch was valued at 249 euros or 17.3 thousand rubles.
