No Garden Warfare 3: EA is working on Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

At the end of July, Electronic Arts began gathering players to test a new shooter based on Plant vs. Zombies. The company decided

did not reveal the name of the project to testers, but left a hint.

What is known

The company registered the trademark Plant vs.Zombies: Battle for Neighborville at the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The description says that it is a “computer game”, and it seems that with this name the third part of the shooter based on Plant vs. Zombies will hit the store shelves. Electronic Arts has already announced mobile PvZ 3, and the financial report only talked about one big game in the universe.

At the same time, it’s too early to brand the new partnamed Plant vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. In the invitation to testing, the game was codenamed Picnic, and perhaps it will remain with the project until release, although this is unlikely. The application for registration of the trademark was submitted on August 9, after notification of the tests, which means the developers have finally decided on the name.

There is still no release date, but according to rumors, a conditional Plant vs. will be released. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville will be released in the fall of 2019.
