Nokia 2.3: 6.2-inch display, dual camera, MediaTek Helio A22 chip, 4000 mAh battery and a price tag of 110 euros

HDM Global held an event yesterday where it showed the budget Nokia 2.3.

What is known

The new product is the successor to Nokia 2.2 and received a plastic case with a metal frame. The device was also equipped with a 6.2-inch widescreen HD+ display with a drop-shaped cutout for a 5 MP camera, a 12-12 nm MediaTek Helio A22 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. The new product is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, which according to the company is enough for two days of operation. Unfortunately, the smartphone is charged from the microUSB port. The device does not have an NFC module for Google Pay contactless payments.

On the back of the smartphone there is a doublemain camera 13 MP + 2 MP. It supports HDR, night and portrait modes. The device also has a separate slot for two SIM and microSD, a headphone jack, and a Face Unlock function instead of a fingerprint scanner.

Nokia 2.3 still runs on Android 9 Pie, but the device will soon receive Android 10.

Price and when to wait

Sales of the smartphone will begin in December with a price tag of 110 euros. There will be three body colors available: Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal. The new product will compete with Redmi 8A.

Recall that yesterday the company Flipkart announced in India the first smart TV under the Nokia brand.
