Nokia C2: an ultra-budget Android Go smartphone with a 5.7-inch screen, 4G support and a 2800 mAh battery

HMD Global has announced its new ultra-budget Android Go smartphone.

Nokia C2 (successor to Nokia C1).It received a plastic body and a 5.7-inch display without cutouts and with HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Unisoc processor. It also has 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable ROM, a 5-megapixel main camera, a similar front camera with LED flash, a headphone jack and a 2800 mAh battery. The new product supports 4G and has a slot for two SIMs.

The smartphone will be supplied with a specialoperating system Android 9 Pie Go Edition. It is optimized for devices with low hardware and has simplified versions of Google applications: Google Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, YouTube Go, Google Assistant Go, Files Go, etc.

Price and when to wait

The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the price tag and start date of sales of the Nokia C2. Most likely, the company will reveal these details at the presentation on March 19.
