Nokia goes against OPPO and accuses it of patent infringement

Nokia has filed several lawsuits against Chinese OPPO for patent infringement.

What's wrong
?

In 2018, Nokia and OPPO signed a license agreementagreement. They did not name the dates then, but noted that it was a multi-year project. It looks like the contract has now expired. Nokia has made an official statement that OPPO has rejected the offer to extend it, but continues to use the patents. Therefore, the company had to resort to legal assistance.

Nokia has numerous patent infringement complaintsrights in relation to SEP (i.e. very significant) and non-SEP patents. These relate to connectivity, interface and security. Complaints are filed in European and Asian markets.

At the same time, Nokia representatives believe that there is still a more constructive way to resolve the situation.

After all, Nokia has quite a few patents and has signed licensing agreements with Samsung, Apple, LG, Lenovo and even Blackberry.
