Not E3, but still cool: conference schedule for gamescom 2019

E3 2019 marked the beginning of summer, but gamescom 2019 will begin the countdown to the end of the warm days. Exhibition

in Cologne cannot boast of a large scale, but will delight gamers with three shows that should not be missed.

Gamescom 2019 officially begins on August 20, but before then, organizers will hold several opening shows.

  • Inside Xbox - August 19 at 19:00 (Kyiv time)
  • Google Stadia Connect - August 19, 20:00
  • Opening Night Live - August 19 at 21:00

Why watch

At the Inside Xbox show, gamers can seegameplay of Gears 5, which went gold last week. It is possible that players will also learn more about Halo Infinite, Minecraft Dungeons, Forza Horizon 4 and Bleeding Edge there. In addition, Electronic Arts may appear on the Microsoft stage with new details about FIFA 20.

You can expect more announcements regarding the launch lineup of games at Google Stadia Connect. The show's description says Google plans to "unveil new trailers" and also talk about partners.

The biggest event will be Opening Night Live,which marks the start of the main part of gamescom 2019. Participation in the show was confirmed by 16 publishers, including Activision, Bungie, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and THQ Nordic. The latter promised to bring four games to the exhibition, but only two will be shown on stage. We can expect new details about Shadowkeep from Bungie, and EA can please fans of Plants vs Zombies and Need For Speed.
