The Minister spoke about this on social networksDefense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov. IRIS-T was given to us by Germany. The system was made for Ukraine for several months. It costs 140,000,000 euros and is capable of protecting a city the size of Kyiv from missiles, drones, etc. This system was originally intended for Egypt, but in the end we received it first. By the way, in total we should get 4 such air defense systems. Another one will be handed over later this year, and the remaining two will arrive in early 2023.

IRIS-T is a medium-sized anti-aircraft missile systemrange of action. It was developed by the German company Diehl Defense in 2014. The complex is designed to destroy airplanes, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise and ballistic missiles. IRIS-T is considered one of the most advanced air defense systems.
