According to journalists, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak asked Defense Minister Ben Wallace to speed up aid to Ukraine and also transfer tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Presumably, we are talking about 10 British Challenger 2 tanks.

Challenger 2 is the main battle tankBritish ground forces. It was created in the 90s by BAE Systems. The tank was removed from production in 2009. Challenger 2 took part in combat operations in Kosovo and Iraq. As of 2022, the UK has 227 Challenger 2 tanks in service. The Omani armed forces also use 38 tanks.
