According to him, in future smartphones the company will also use Snapdragon 778G and Snapdragon 898 processors. But, as in the case of the P50, these will be 4G versions of the chips, without the ability to work in fifth-generation networks.

Unfortunately, the insider did not say which onesmodels will receive new chips. But we can assume that the Snapdragon 778G is for the Huawei nova 9 series, while the Snapdragon 898 is for the upcoming Mate 50 flagships.

In addition, the insider claims that Huawei may also use MediaTek chipsets, but the deal has not yet been finalized.
