PC Games N found Nick van's LinkedIn profileDyke, who serves as president of the film and television division at Activision Blizzard. In his job description, Dyke noted that he served as an executive producer while working on an anime-style Diablo series being developed for Netflix.
At the same time, Dyke managed to “develop and sell”animated series based on the Overwatch franchise. Blizzard has already told the backstories of the game's characters in short videos. Apparently, now the time has come for a full-fledged series about the defenders of the earth. Moreover, the release of Overwatch 2 is just around the corner.
The publication's journalists went to question Blizzard about the details, but so far there is no information about the plot. Perhaps series based on Diablo and Overwatch will become an addition to the upcoming games.
