Nothing officially unveils $ 99 Ear (1)

) will go on sale on August 17 in 45 countries, including the US and UK, priced at $99/£99/€99, depending on region.

Thanks to a design based on transparentplastic, Ear (1) have a distinctive appearance that shows off some of the internal circuitry. Each earbud is marked with a colored circle (red or white) representing the corresponding ear. The headphones integrate 11.6mm drivers, and the Nothing Ear (1) hardware and software have been customized by Swedish electronics manufacturer Teenage Engineering.

The headphones can work on one chargeup to 34 hours when using the headphones with the charging case, and almost 6 hours when using the headphones themselves with ANC turned off. These figures respectively drop to 24 hours and 4 hours with ANC enabled.

The headphones can be charged over the air usingQi-compatible chargers, or via USB-C. The Ear (1) uses three microphones on each earbud to provide three levels of noise cancellation. The headphones also cancel out background noise during calls.

Ear (1) has touch controls andgestures. These same gestures can be customized using the companion app, which also supports equalizer and Find my Earbud functions. The headphones communicate with the world using the Bluetooth 5.2 protocol. Waterproof rating – IPX4, which should easily withstand sweat and light splashes. Quick pairing will be supported with compatible Android devices.

As already mentioned, the headphones will be available in generalsale next month. However, if you just really need them, Nothing will be selling a limited run from its own website starting July 31st.
