Nothing Phone (1) is getting Android 14 beta soon

Google I/O, the annual developer conference, kicks off on May 10, where Google is set to unveil

the new version of the Android 14 operating system and launch a beta program. It looks like the young startup Nothing will be among the first whose users will be able to test Android 14.

What is known

Ahead of the launch, Google is sending outsmartphone makers are being invited to early access to speed up the adoption process and seamlessly integrate new features. And Nothing is one of them.

The manufacturer's message says that soonNothing Phone (1) owners will get access to Android 14 Beta 1. There are no specific dates yet. It will also be interesting to see how quickly Nothing can release a stable version of Android 14. Given the pace at which the beta is rolling out, it probably won't take long.

Incidentally, this will be the second major operating system update for the Nothing Phone (1). The smartphone debuted last year with Android 12, after which it received Android 13.
