Now Apple podcasts can be listened to directly in the browser.

This week, Apple updated the podcast web interface to make it more understandable and convenient for

navigation.

What is known

Users will be able to open podcast directories,without going to iTunes. Now the episodes will be available in a web browser and for each there is a special page with details and notes. The web interface still provides the ability to go to iTunes in order to read reviews or access trend charts.

To view the podcasts just click"Play" on the page of interest. The episode's links use the URL podcasts.apple.com instead of itunes.apple.com, which can be a confirmation of the rumors about dividing iTunes into different applications.
