Now it's official: Samsung introduced the new Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 foldable smartphones

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 officially presented. Both devices will go on sale on August 26. Their prices are not

changed from last year: $1,799 for the Fold 4 and $999 for the Flip 4. Discuss

The Z Fold 4 is a few millimeters wider andequipped with a 6.2-inch external OLED display with a frequency of 120Hz and a resolution of 2316×904. The inner one has also become wider - a 7.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2176 × 1812 and a frequency of 120 Hz. The thickness of the device has not changed much

Other specs include Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and 4400mAh battery with 25W charging. Dust protection is not provided, but the smartphone can be immersed in fresh water for 30 minutes. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side of the power button, and it also supports Wi-Fi 6E.

There are three rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor from the Galaxy S22, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 10MP triple zoom telephoto lens.

Samsung also announced the Flip 4, which foldsa smartphone in half, like a good old clamshell. The phone is similar to last year's model: internal screen 6.7 inches, 120 Hz, 2640×1080; external display 1.9 inches, 60 Hz, 260×512.

The Z Flip 4 gets a boost in the form of a 3700 mAh battery, up from the 3300 mAh that the Flip 3 had.

Paying $999 for Flip 4 Gets a ProcessorSnapdragon 8 Gen 1+, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There are two rear cameras, main and wide-angle, both 12 MP. The front camera has 10 MP. Like the Z Fold, the phone still has 25W charging, the same dust (i.e. none) and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Wi-Fi 6E compatibility.
