The photo was taken on April 7, 2023, forfour days prior to the US Strategic Command (STRATCOM) exercise Global Thunder. B-2A Spirit bombers did not take part in the event.
Initially, there was no information about howhow and for what purpose the B-2A Spirit ended up in Honolulu. But Global Strike Command has clarified. As it turned out, the nuclear bomber was on a mission even before the US Air Force stopped the flights of aircraft. The mission included a stop in Hawaii. The bomber will remain here until flights resume.
