The video card received an AD104 GPU chip in the variantAD104-250-A1. The GPU is manufactured by TSMC using 5nm technology. The processor has 35.8 billion transistors. Power consumption reaches 200 watts.

GPU clock is from 1.92 GHz (base) to2.475 GHz (Boost), and the memory frequency - 1313 MHz (effective - 21 GB / s). The chip is connected to 12 GB of GDDR6X video memory via a 192-bit bus. The maximum throughput is 504.2 GB/s.
The GPU received 5888 CUDA cores and 46 ray tracing cores. The company also claims 64 rasterization units, 184 tensor cores and the same number of texture units.

GeForce RTX 4070 is designed for games in the format1440p at maximum image quality settings. Like other new generation models, the RTX 4070 received support for DLSS 3 frame generation technology.
The reference graphics card without DLSS outperformsby 22% on the RTX 3070 in Full HD games. The advantage over the RTX 3070 Ti is reduced to 17%, and in comparison with the RTX 3080 it drops to only 2%. But in 4K, the new product is 5% inferior to the RTX 3080 model.
