NVIDIA Unveils Long-Awaited RTX 4090 and 4080 Graphics Cards

NVIDIA has finally officially unveiled the next generation of its RTX 40 graphics cards, codenamed Ada Lovelace.

Flagship RTX 4090, RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 4080 12GB announced

The top new generation GPU has 76 billiontransistors and is made using TSMC 4N technology. The new architecture includes third generation RT cores (for ray tracing) and fourth generation tensor cores. NVIDIA has confirmed that Ada Lovelace supports the new DLSS 3 technology.

The flagship RTX 4090 received a GPUAD102-300 with 16,384 CUDA cores and 2520 MHz. The performance of the new product is 82.6 TFLOPS - 2.3 times more than its predecessor RTX 3090. The video card is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X video memory. The new graphics card requires more power than the 3090 Ti. TDP is 450W.
