Officially: Canada will give Ukraine 200 modern armored vehicles Roshel Senator

Canada is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine.

Defense of Canada Anita Anand duringduring his visit to Ukraine. The new package will include 200 advanced armored Senator vehicles valued at approximately C$90,000,000. It is not yet known when deliveries of the vehicles will begin. By the way, at the beginning of a full-scale war, Canada transferred 8 such armored cars to Ukraine.

For those who are not in the know

The Senator is a new armored vehicle from the Canadian company Roshel Defense Solutions. Production of the vehicles began in 2019. The vehicle is based on the Ford F-series commercial truck.

The Senator APC has a Ford 6 engine.7 TD V8 with 400 horsepower and a top speed of 110 km/h. The armored vehicle can be equipped with 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine guns or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. The vehicles can accommodate 12 soldiers.
