Officially: Croatia will transfer Mi-8 helicopters to Ukraine

In February, Croatian media wrote that the country's government was going to transfer Mi-8 helicopters to Ukraine.

Now this information has been confirmed.

What is known

Croatian Defense Minister Mario Banožić spoke about this during a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart. Deliveries should begin shortly.

The Croatian Minister of Defense did not disclose the number of helicopters, but presumably we are talking about 14 units: 12 Mi-8 MTV-1 helicopters and 2 Mi-8T helicopters.
