Official: Electronic Arts returns to Steam along with Battlefield 5, FIFA 20 and EA Access service

Technically, the company never left the Valve store.but after the launch of Origin, new electronic games stopped being released on Steam. Now EA and Valve will resume their collaboration, which will begin with the release of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on November 15. In addition, the game can already be pre-ordered.

Already in the spring of 2020, EA plans to launchEA Access service, which for a monthly or annual fee provides access to a library of electronics games. Jedi Fallen Order alone will not be enough for this, because Sims 4, Unravel 2, Apex Legends, FIFA 20, Battlefield 5 and others will come to Steam.

In addition, EA Access for Steam will retain bonusessubscriptions, including early access to games and a 10% discount on new projects of the company. At the same time, games from third parties, such as Batman: Arkham Asylum or Darksiders III, will not be available on EA Access for Steam.

EA is also working on the ability to combine Origin and Steam accounts and plans to launch cross-play between platforms.
