When and who will update
The first beta versions of the OS are available today for developers participating in the Apple Developer Program. Public beta versions will be released in July, but expect stable versions only in the fall.
Apple also announced a list of devices that will be updated to iOS 15. It includes the following models:
- iPhone 6s and 6s Plus
- iPhone SE (1st generation)
- iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
- iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
- iPhone X
- iPhone XS and XS Max
- iPhone 11
- iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (2nd generation)
- iPod touch (7th generation)
