The authors of the NJ Tech channel on YouTube presentedcomparison results of two processors: Intel Core i3-12100F and AMD Ryzen 5 3600. They were tested in 11 working programs and 10 games. You can see the main characteristics of these processor models below.

As for the benchmarks, among them wereCinebench R23, Blender, Corona 1.3, Adobe Premiere 2021, Adobe Photoshop 2021, V-Ray, Chromium Code, Geek Bench 5, Handbrake 1.4.2, Temperature, CPU Power Consumption.
INCinebench R23in single-threaded mode the winner was i3, in multi-threaded – R5. INBlenderThe leader was the processor from AMD. The same goes forCorona 1.3.
Results inAdobe Premiere 2021The Ryzen 5 3600 turned out to be better again, but inAdobe Photoshop 2021the winner was already the Core i3-12100F.
In the benchmarkV-RayThe best performance was from the Ryzen processor. The same situation was observed inChromium code.
In multi-threaded mode inGeek Bench 5The Ryzen 5 scored slightly higher, but in single-threaded mode it was inferior to the i3-12100F.
Difference inHandbrake 1.4.2between processors was quite insignificant. But Ryzen turned out to be slightly better: 47 fps versus 43 fps.
Byheatingin the process of operation, AMD and Intel are practically no different. But according toenergy consumptionnoticeably better (almost twice) was the i3-12100F.

If we talk about games, then of them assemblieslaunched in Battlefield 2042, Far Cry 6, Call of Duty: Warzone, Hitman 3, Cyberpunk 2077, F1 2021, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2, CS:GO. At the same time, processors were tested at 1080p resolution with two video cards: RTX 3080 and RTX 3060.
INBattlefield 2042with a low preset of the difference between indicatorsThere was almost no processor performance. With the RTX 3080 graphics card, the average FPS was 94 fps (R5) and 91 fps (i3), with the RTX 3060 – 91 fps (R5) and 88 fps (i3).
At the same time inFar cry 6at low settings, Intel was already in the lead: it allowed us to get an average of 125 fps with the RTX 3080 (106 fps – with Ryzen) and 109 fps with the RTX 3060 (102 fps – with Ryzen ). A similar situation was inHitman 3with a low preset, and inCyberpunk 2077also at low settings, and inShadow of the tomb raiderwith a low preset, and inDota 2at the lowest settings, and inCS: GOon low graphics settings.
But inCall of Duty: Warzoneat low graphics settings the RTX 3080 is betterThe AMD Ryzen 5 processor has already shown itself: its average frame rate was 219 fps (Intel’s was 208 fps). Interestingly, with the RTX 3060, Intel was again the leader: 146 fps on average versus 142 fps for Ryzen. The same thing happened inRainbow six siege, which was launched with a low preset.

Conclusion
On average, as can be seen from the test results, inIn benchmarks, Ryzen 5 was most often in the lead, and in games – Intel. In all gaming projects, the average frame rate for the Core i3-12100F with RTX 3080 was 212 fps and with RTX 3060 – 181 fps, which is 4.25 and almost 6 percent more than the Ryzen 5 3600 (203 fps and 171 fps, respectively).
