Older Russians make the most expensive purchases on the Internet

Analysts at Russian Standard Bank found that the most expensive purchases on the Internet are made by the elderly

Russians aged 51 to 60 years.

Experts learned this by analyzing the dataspending on customer cards. For 11 months of 2020, the average amount of one purchase on the Internet for this category of Russians was 3289 rubles. They are followed by people aged 60+. The average purchase amount for them is 3008 rubles. Next come Russians aged 41-50 - 2757 rubles. On average, 31-40-year-olds spend less on the Internet - 2035 rubles. And finally, the lowest average amount of online purchases came out for people aged 21 to 30 - 1007 rubles.

Basically, people spend a lot on the Internet on transport, hobbies, supermarkets, baby products, clothes, shoes and accessories.
