Once upon a time, Realme ousted insolent smartphone manufacturers. Will this happen again in laptops?

This has never happened before, and here it is again – the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has come to laptops in order to

To bite off America's market share in the face of HP and Dell, to fight the tired Asians from Acer, and then to go to battle with the "bosses" in the face of Asus and Lenovo.Five years ago, in 2016, Xiaomi went this way, a little later Huawei joined the party, and today, at the end of 2021, Realme released its first laptop.Well, how did they show Kuzkin's mother to the manufacturers with a large markup for the nameplate?FerraRealme Book Rating

Who are Realme in smartphones and what shines for them in laptops

In smartphones, Rilmi became famous for the fact that thesemost Xiaomi steadily bypasses little by little in terms of price / quality ratio. Realme C21Y is a little faster and more profitable than Redmi 9C, Realme 8 Pro = Redmi Note 10 Pro minus "show-offs", with a price of several thousand rubles lower (as a rule) and without problems with the proximity sensor. The Realme Buds Air 2 headphones are a more affordable alternative to the Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3 Pro without sacrificing performance or quality.

And what about the rest of your competitors?Well, budget Samsungs are radically more expensive (12-14 thousand for a "bucket" on MTK Helio P35, processor in 2017, would you like to?), Oppo and Vivo, despite the "Chineseness", also without pledging interest on caviar and the Bahamas, smartphones do not sell, ZTE makes very cheap (the case when cheap are not “affordable”, but cheap) mobile phones based on ancient hot and slow processors, Nokia and Sony cannot compete in terms of price / quality.

In short, in Russia and all other countries where sanctions are not being fought against Chinese mobiles, Realme and Xiaomi compete for two.

In laptops, the situation is slightly different - there, firstly, historically there have already been guys who have taken a piece of bread from the "bourgeoisie". Because it was a Chinese laptop manufacturer with a Chinese manufacturer, which turned out to be much more profitable than an American / Taiwanese manufacturer with a Chinese manufacturer - in general, I am hinting at Lenovo, which among the Chinese laptop manufacturers were pioneers 8-9 years ago.

And secondly, in laptops, in addition to Xiaomi, for the lastyears sharply jerked Huawei, in which the Americans "soaked to zero" (well, almost) the production of smartphones, but for some reason they did not touch the laptops. Therefore, Huawei has made every effort, sometimes even financial, to become a prominent character among laptop manufacturers. And he achieved his goal, unlike Haier, which came with prices of the level "Well, why is this necessary?", And has not left yet, but cannot gain popularity either.

A few years ago, Huawei (left) and Xiaomi (right) were considered the "upstarts" among laptop manufacturers. And now they are already "seasoned" and we are testing a Realme laptop. The Chinese are striving for power.

Don't you understand what I'm driving at?Let me explain: laptops do not have such a scorched earth without competitors as smartphones; among laptop manufacturers there are no “whipping boys” with a sad price-quality ratio (such have become extinct for a long time, we will not point the finger at Fujitsu and Toshiba). And already in 2021, when processor manufacturers, due to a shortage, sell CPUs without super-margins to “big” laptop players, and not small ones, there is no reason to hope for a miracle.

But, in general, in 2019, when Realme cameto Russia, he also looked like "it seems like Xiaomi, but not radically more profitable - so why take it and not Xiaomi?" super margins. Maybe it worked with laptops?

I will not play up and disperse the intrigue, so hereto you at once the characteristics of the laptop. So that all buyers of a plastic govna with TN matrices for 30 thousand rubles run away from the article, do not spoil the cries of "yes, I will never buy a laptop for that kind of money in principle!" comments.

With the rest we will now delve into, good orthe Realme Book turned out to be bad in comparison with the rest of the middle class laptops, taking into account the current prices of "$ 70" and "a shortage of components, but what else did you want?"

Blue like me on Friday nights

As you know, Russia is for the sad, thereforesmartphones and laptops from us are almost always bought in dull gray-white-black colors. A couple of years ago, the Chinese from Huawei were very surprised when I said that their green MateBook X Pro in Russia “would not enter”, and argued that “well, someday people will want to buy equipment with a design that is not like a neighbor's?”. And nothing has changed.

Therefore, the fact that Realme Book can beonly in the blue color of the case, and no other - a risky story for the manufacturer. With our country, those who like to be offended for any reason are within reach, "the boys will not understand" if you buy a laptop in matte blue. Yes, and on the first day of testing, I was also embarrassed, I will not lie.

But for the boys, I will remind you that the neighbors on the deskto colleagues at work, in response to claims, you can say that this is the color of "BMW M" or a color in the style of the Gillette logo (see for yourself), and live the laptop is not as vigorous-bluish as in the pictures. The more sun, the brighter the light. In the dim light of the lamp in the bedroom, sometimes it seems generally grayish.

Dimensions and weight? After the Huawei MateBook X or LG Gram with their 0.999 kg, you take it in your hands, twist your face and say, "Well, I thought it would be easier!" And then it dawns on you that this is a 14-inch device! And among other laptops of the same dimension, Realme Book does not differ much from competitors either in weight or in length-width-thickness. And some of them - Xiaomi, for example, are even a little harder:

NotebookRealme BookXiaomi RedmiBook Pro 14Apple MacBook Air 13 2020Lenovo IdeaPad 5 ProHonor MagicBook 14 (aka Huawei MateBook D14)Screen diagonal14.2 ”14” 13.3 ”14” 14 ”Weight1.38 kg 1.46 kg 1.29 kg 1.38 kg 1.38 kgBattery capacity54 W * h 56 W * h 49.9 W * h 56.5 W * h 56 W * hDimensions, mm307 x 229 x 14.9315 x 220 x 17.2304 x 212 x 16.1312 x 221 x 17.9322 x 214 x 15.9

The thickness here, however, is not particularly attentionPay attention - all manufacturers lie in this regard and indicate the thinnest part of the laptop (at the front end) as a standard. In short, considering the size of the screen and the battery capacity, the dimensions of the Realme Book are fine.

Now and later connectors

I am, of course, very "pinned" and admiredsmall laptops with a huge number of connectors, but here as in the old debate about boobs - someone thinks that it would be better if they were brains. And in the case of laptops, in some cases it would be better if it was a larger battery instead of outdated VGA / HDMI and other nonsense taking up space from the inside of the case.

Realme Book of all connectors is worth knowingthe main thing is that there is a full-size USB! Only one, but it's fast (as much as USB 3.2 Gen 1 - 10 Gb / s, even for an external SSD the speed will be enough with a margin). The rest is Type-C. There are no additional hubs and adapters included with the laptop - like, if you have a full-size USB stuck into the case, then only a charger is required for such a laptop.

There is a full-size USB - this is the main thing. You can live without the rest of the old connectors

The charging connector is the most "cunning" one. It looks like a standard Type-C, into which you plug a cable from a 65 W charger, and ... this is only part of the connector's functions. Because he is also part-time:

  • Thunderbolt 4... In short, this is the "fattest" port in a laptop, toto which you can connect a fucking cloud of everything via USB, and also connect an external screen and an external network card (if you are a fan of wired Internet), and all this will have enough speed.
  • 15W reverse charging port... In short, if necessary, it will charge your smartphone not as fast as a complete 18W mobile phone charger, but much, much faster than a regular computer / laptop port.

A bunch of bells and whistles were crammed into the charging connector (with a lightning). And in order to use them all 100%, you have to buy a USB hub

Of course, I am confused that this stuffthey put it into the charging port, and not the neighboring Type-C - I would like to leave the charging port for charging, and not look for a USB hub to it, which can pass 65 W from the charger through itself and transfer them to the laptop. But here are the features of Intel certification, which obliges to make the Type-C charging port the fastest and most sophisticated.

It also obliges laptops to work for at least 9 hours.battery power, support fast charging and modern Wi-Fi 6, etc. In short, it issues an EVO nameplate to laptops with characteristics of the "middle class and above" level.

12

Intel System Requirements for EVO Certification of Laptops

Of the family features (or, as they say, "the signature Realme handwriting"), I also remember this:

  • Корпус «люминиевый»... Well, what else - plastic at this price is already considered indecent to put, magnesium alloy is more expensive and is most often found in laptops from 100 thousand rubles or more.
  • There is a webcam... It is ordinary and located above the display, there is nothing more to say.
  • The opening angle of the lid is amazing... Almost 180 degrees, like in some laptop withtouch screen. In principle, the Huawei MateBook D14 can do that too, but the MateBook X cannot be opened as wide as the Xiaomi RedmiBook 14. The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro can be opened a little wider, but also at a smaller angle.

Why is this necessary at all?If you travel on a bus with cramped seats and put your laptop on bent knees, the Realme Book has enough opening margin for the screen to look at you, while in laptops with a poor opening angle, the screen will look at your navel.

  • No card reader or full-size HDMI... It seems to be the hell with them, but you will biteme if I don't mention it. In the place of the owner of such a laptop, I would buy a hub with HDMI, RJ-45, several USB and an SD card reader, and also a separate one for microSD (there are tons of this on Aliexpress, you can take some Dodocool, Ugreen, Baseus, etc. . and do not take a steam bath). But if it is expensive for you or religion does not allow it, then yes, do not connect an external monitor without adapters, and you will not stick a memory card from the phone.
  • All processor ventilation is located at the bottom... It is located in all thin laptops, just some still have hot air blowing from the rear edge (which is at the junction with the screen). Here we did without it - looking ahead I can say that with the temperature everything remained normal.

I thought overheating was guaranteed with this arrangement of vents. But no, it plows quite stably

  • MacBook test fails... Because this is not a MacBook. That is, if you try to open the lid with one hand, it will not work - the body will jump next, because the hinges are tight. It seems inconvenient, but on the other hand, the laptop will not open or close itself if you type something while driving a taxi on Russian roads in the outback. By the way, the notch for opening the lid on the front edge is huge - I have not seen a laptop in which it would take up a quarter of the width of the case for a long time.

12

The slot for opening the lid is simply huge and takes up a quarter of the front edge

MacBook Air suddenly gets worse screen

In laptops, a situation often happens whenthe same screen (matrix) is used in laptops from different manufacturers. It regularly happens that some Acer / Asus / Lenovo / HP models have interchangeable display parts.

But with the "new Chinese", like Xiaomi, Huawei and, as it turned out, Realme, everything is not so - there are exclusives all around. That is, AIDA64 will tell you that the display in the laptop is "CMN8C04 HD140ZB-01A", but this information will not give you anything(other than guesswork that it's Chi Mei), because there are no other laptops in nature with this display model. And in general, it was understandable, because laptops with 14.2" (not 14" exactly) and a resolution of 2160×1440 are no longer sold.

Well, okay, this does not prevent us from measuring the characteristics and comparing them with competitors:

7500K in the Realme Book screen "from the factory" - a bit too much, if you decide to take it - look for a calibrated display profile

There's so little data on the Xiaobuku because no one outside of China has tested it yet. But, judging by the translation of the Chinese review, the display turned out to be rather dull.

Although, against the background of the shame in the Honor laptop, everyone looks handsome - before I started collecting data, I was sure that the Huawei MateBook D14 and Honor MagicBook 14 had screens, but no.

Live display looks even better than in pictures

In short, the coolest so far in this class is onlyLenovo IdeaPad 5, compared to it, even the MacBook Air on the M1 looks like a poor relative. Well, in Realme Book, the display is one of the best in terms of brightness and contrast. The color rendition, however, is configured in Chinese (in a bad sense of the word) - the white color should be neutral, but slightly shifted towards the blue and because of this RGB (red, green, blue) do not look the way they should be in the reference ... True, this is not because the display is bad, but simply no one has configured it "from the factory" normally - if you decide to buy, download the display profile reconfigured to normal colors on Notebookcheck, and then follow these instructions to get the MacBook Air level color rendering.

And yes, if you haven't noticed by the numbers indisplay resolution, in Realme Book it has an aspect ratio of 3: 2 (almost square) instead of the “cinematic” 16: 9 stretched to the sides in most competitors. This is more convenient for work, but in films and on YouTube, the black bars above and below will take up more space (the vidos are all stretched out to the sides now).

There is aptX via Bluetooth, this is the main thing

There is a DTS sticker on the body, they say, la-la, poplar, customized by professionals, and other marketing. De facto, the laptop has two speakers with which it plays ... like a typical 14-inch mid-range laptop. Not a "squeaker", does not wheeze and does not cut ears, but also to remember in old age, they say, "But in the old days I had a Realme laptop, played in such a way that you can't imagine, grandchildren!" you won't be either - nothing special.

In headphones - too, and even an equalizer for fine tuning is not to be seen. And you don't need it, the sound path of the built-in audio Realtek ALC269 itself is normal.

eleven

Good news!

More importantly, the Bluetooth module supports the aptX codec — the Chinese didn't save on licensing fees for Qualcomm, so you'll have sound in Bluetooth headphonesAnd not flawed in the style of "Vasyan reconverted a mp3 and uploaded it as a 240p video on YouTube" - this is how he plays on WindowsBluetooth music if only the SBC is supported, not aptX.

Ideally, I would also like to get aptX HD and LDAC, but this is already fantastic and audiophilia, which laptop manufacturers are still putting with the device on.

The keyboard is ordinary, we scroll further

The article has already turned out to be a sheet, so I will not dwell for a long time on what does not require clarification. In short:

  • The keyboard and touchpad are comfortable... There are two levels of backlighting (during the day it is difficult to see, in the evening and in cloudy weather just) the keys are soft and not noisy.

  • The fingerprint scanner is cool and fast... No complaints.

  • In the keyboard, it is a little annoying that the F-keys are initially assigned to multimedia... That is, they control the screen brightness / volumesound, etc., until you press Fn yourself and switch their function. By default, this kind of stuff cannot be changed to classic functions (renaming, cut / paste, etc.), there is no such setting in UEFI either.

By the way, in order not to get up twice, about UEFI (orBIOS, if you are an old believer) - it has a minimum of functions, in addition to disabling Secure Boot and assigning a USB flash drive / hard disk bootable (to reinstall Windows from a drive), there is a TPM enable / disable. In short, this damn encryption module, due to which some laptops have become incompatible with Windows 11, is in the Realme Book and functions. You can install the W11 at any time without any problems.

Let me remind you: the processor index does not tell about the performance of anything

Due to the fact that processor manufacturers together with laptop manufacturers are muddying uptheir dirty deeds and are not responsible for their words, they have toin every reviewSay the obvious:

In 2021, two laptops with the same processor may differ in performance by 2 times (!!!). And not because the fans are failing.

It's because Intel released, for example, the Core i5-1135G7 and allowed manufacturers to "strangle" or "overclock" it as they wanted within very wide limits.

If you want - make from a quad-core processorup to the performance level of a dual-core Core i3-1115G4 or Core i7-6567U. If you want, heat up to the level of 6-core Intel Core i7-8850H and AMD Ryzen 5 4680U.

eleven

Processor performance in 2021 is determined by these numbers, not your worn-out benchmarks.

Cool? Very much. But there are a couple of nuances:

  • This tuning is called "TDP" or "Power Limits" and the processor's operating limits are set by the laptop manufacturer"The ones that are put on the factory are the ones you can live with.If you bought a laptop with a Core i5-1135G7 in a "strangled" version to the level of dual-cores, it will remain so for the rest (of its life). And the second problem:
  • You cannot know what the performance of a processor in a laptop will be until you buy it or read the reviews.... Because she can be anyone, but she can reportin front of you, slaves, neither the laptop manufacturer nor Intel is planning - they wrote "Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake 12th generation", and that's it, marketing goals have been achieved.

Now if you bought a set of bolts and nuts(no, not Zhiguli) with one label, and every time there would be bolts and nuts of different dimensions, the manufacturer would have already stuffed the face. Or jurmord (legal entity). But in laptops, the "floating" twice the performance of the processor (and video cards, NVIDIA will not let you lie) is considered not a deception of the buyer, but an achievement - they say, more laptops, low-power, powerful and different. And which one will fall out to you - well, these are your problems, you had to smear yourself with the concepts of TDP, Power Limit and throttling before buying.

Therefore, you will have to spend time trying tofind out how fast the Core i5-1135G7 in the Realme Book is compared to the "average hospital temperature" (average performance) of these processors in other laptops.

How does the processor work, which games will run

Better to see once. So, we have a Core i5-1135G7 in a shitty cloud of laptops. Look at the table, it shows:

eleven

Yes, the same processor is SO different in performance across different laptops

  • Laptop model
  • Processor and its Power Limits... The first number in watts is for short-term (up to 2 seconds) load, the second is for continuous operation at maximum load. The higher the number, the faster the processor works.
  • GraphicsAnd to hell with it, we're looking at the results of a test that jerksonlyprocessor, you don't even have to look at it.
  • RAM... It also has nothing to do with the conversation.
  • Result in points. Calculate the percentages and feel the differencehow muchcan work differently on the same processor, depending on thedegree of "strangulation" from the factory.

As you can see, processors are ranked from2786 to 6136 points. Where is Realme Book on this list? At the bottom of the list: his result is 5289 points. Of all the models close in price in the table, only Lenovo ThinkBook will be a little faster, the rest of the laptops are either flagships or differ in size.

fourteen

In Cinebench R23...

And yes, the Power Limit in the Realme Book for continuous load is 28 watts.

You will be surprised now, but with the Core i5-1135G7The Realme Book processor runs 18% faster in the Cinebench R20 benchmark than the Core i7-1165G7 in the ZenBook 14 UX425EA and is roughly on par with the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro 14, which also has a Core i7-1165G7. Either the Chinese are cheating, or the processor "breathes" so freely that it is tuned for the better in performance.

Judging by the heating level (and I tried both AIDA64 andpowerMAX) the cooling is still cool - there is no throttling, if the laptop does not stand on a pillow or blanket, you cannot overheat and force it to "lag".

12

Few laptops today are capable of pulling an i5 with a TDP of 28 W absolutely without throttling.

Nothing praiseworthy can be said about the games on the integrated graphics Iris Xe Graphics G7 80EU, but if you really want to play, then:

  • FIFA 22will “fly” at 1280×720 on low graphics quality and “will do if you don’t play online” on average at 1920×1080.
  • Cyberpunk 2077will work in crappy slideshow mode on any chart, don’t even try it.
  • DiRT Rally 2 and DiRT 4They will barely work at minimum 1280×720.
  • Doom eternalnot playable even at minimum and low resolution.
  • GTA 5will go to the minimum at 1280×720.
  • Far cry 6will regularly “slow down” at the minimum of 1280×720, but you can play somehow.
  • Witcher 3on average at 1280×720 it is quite playable (the game is old).

You can play on i5-1135G7 and Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 if you are willing to put up with 1280×720, minimal detail and 30 fps

In short, you can play games from 2016 and older at 1280×720 normally. Novie will not work at all in most cases, unless it is World of Tanks and other FIFA.

fourteen

Game benchmarks. Was it not in vain that I wasted my time on them? Now let the screenshots lie in the article

RAM, SSD, upgrade

RAM in Realme Book in anyconfigurations only 8 GB - by today's standards, this is still not bad, but right next to it. That is, if you launch any toy, you will have to close Google Chrome. Well, do not open 50+ tabs in the browser at all, etc. And with this, alas, nothing can be done about it - the memory is unsoldered.

eleven

In order not to jerk the lid, I decided not to disassemble the laptop myself. But here's a photo of the same model from Notebookcheck

Photo: www.notebookcheck.net

But the SSD is removable, so the standard 512 GBcan be replaced with any volume you need (fortunately, the drive is the most standard - PCIe 3.0 x4, dimension 2280). And if there is enough memory, then you can not change it - this is a good fast Samsung SSD, everything is fine with it.

SSD fast, my compliments

The Wi-Fi module can also be replaced, only thisnafig is not necessary. Firstly, because it squeezes out 750 Mbit / s for transmission and 1100 Mbit / s for reception - are you sure that you will have your home Internet at this speed in the next five years? And secondly, since this module supports aptX via Bluetooth, you should stick to it so as not to buy some MediaTek-Ralink, whose bluetooth sound will be lousy.

Autonomy

Battery life of Realme Book - atfour on five points. Compared to laptops such as Lenovo ThinkBook 14 or MSI Prestige 14, the autonomy is not bad, but in general, almost all competitors are more enduring.

fourteen

Autonomy in games at 150 cd / m2 brightness

You can hardly stand 10 hours of watching movies.in one gulp, and even 8.5 hours in "Chrome - Microsoft Office - Zoom / Teams" also can't be mastered in a row, but just keep in mind that Realme Book is a laptop with autonomy for "came to work in the morning - worked away from the outlet - to leave from work the laptop asked for a charger. " And without any stocks on "to get there on the road and to sign on the way to work". Although such restrictions are unlikely to confuse anyone.

By the way, the included 65 W charger charges the laptopfrom 0% to 100% in just 1 hour 15 minutes and from 0% to 50% in just half an hour. And you can also charge the laptop with a charger from a 30W Realme smartphone (!). Not fast, but it will charge - it's very cool, because usually laptops refuse to "eat" electricity from chargers with a capacity of less than 45 watts.

Competitors

Let's go in order:

  • Huawei Matebook D14, aka Honor MagicBook 14 2021... The design is very similar, the body is almostsimilar in performance, the autonomy is slightly worse, the screen is much worse (dull, lower clarity, worse color reproduction), the speed is about the same, the dimensions are similar, but there are two full-size USB connectors (Realme Book has only one) and a full-size HDMI. True, one full-size port is fast (USB 3.2 Gen 1), and the second full-size and Type-C port are flawed, of the USB 2.0 standard.

A significant disadvantage is the camera for the sake of framelessness(which is so-so, the laptop has not become more compact than Realme) is hidden in "hard-to-reach places", that is, in the keyboard. When making calls, you will delight your colleagues with a second (or third, if you already have a second) chin.

In retail with a complete set "FHD-display, i5, 8/512 GB" costs from 63 to 78 thousand rubles.

  • ASUS Zenbook 14 UX425EA... Simply atrocious in terms of autonomy, a laptopit also has a good set of ports: a full-size USB 3.2 Gen 1, a card reader (!), two fast USB-C and a full-size HDMI. 1080p display instead of 1440p at Realme, and so the display with perfect color reproduction "from the factory", but the contrast ratio is only 1100: 1 versus 1500: 1 in the Realme Book.

But this laptop does not have a connector for wiredheadphones (the same one that is 3.5 mm) - you will have to connect it via an adapter with USB Type-C, as was the case in old LeEco smartphones and similar to how they fenced the adapter from Lightning to 3.5 mm in the iPhone 7. There is not even a fingerprint scanner!

More cons:the lid opens at a rather small angle, the body is metal, but lightweight, so it "breathes" and bends. And the processor is not very fast - apparently, Asus does not allow this laptop to go beyond the 20W TDP limit.

In retail with a complete set "FHD-display, i5, 8/512 GB" costs from 74 to 78 thousand rubles.

  • Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 14ITL6... "People's candidate."It comes without preinstalled Windows, so due to the money saved by Lenova on this for 73-77 thousand rubles, you get 512 GB on an SSD (well, so-so, it will do) and, more importantly, 16 GB of RAM (which is already cool) ...

The screen is slightly worse in brightness than the Realme (370 cd / m2 versus 400 cd / m2), but still not bad. Connectors are scattered throughout the mind: two full-size USBs, an SD card reader, a full-size HDMI, and a pair of Type-C.

Autonomy and speed of work are about the sameRealme Book. In general, until the Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 14 arrived in Russia, this Lenovo is the most likely enemy and the only competitor option whose counter advantages are not offset by a bunch of disadvantages, as in the models above in the text.

If you are too lazy to read the sheet, here are the conclusions.

Of course, Realme’s debut laptop did not beat its competitors by the same margin as the company’s smartphones do with all sorts of Samsung A-series and other Nokia-Sonys.

Because, as I said at the beginning of the article, inFor laptops, competition is tougher than in mobile phones - here not only is Huawei not dead, but alive and well, Lenovo also sets no less Chinese and no less aggressive prices for laptops. And there are "amers" - HP, Dell, as well as Taiwanese extras led by Asus.

Is it possible to say that Realme is lost against their background? No, this is one of the fastest 14-inch laptops on Core i5, with a very high-quality display, a beautiful case and a good price-quality ratio (after the presentation and Russian prices, we will update the article, but so far we are promised a price of about 70 thousand rubles in Russia).

Realme Book vs. competitorsDisplayIn terms of the combination of brightness, contrast and quality of the matrix as a whole, it is one of the best displays in 14-inch mid-range laptops. But don't forget to download a color profile for better color reproduction.Keyboard and touchpadEverything is good, at the level of the best competitorsCompactnessAt the level. No better and no worse than others in terms of weight and dimensions.SoundRoughly the same as that of competitors.PerformanceCooling is excellent, the Core i5 reveals its full potential, there is no overheating. But I would like more RAM.AutonomyFour points out of five. For a similar price, many laptops last longer on battery power.PracticalityOn the one hand, there is a standard M.2 2280 SSD and an excellent opening angle, full-size USB. On the other hand, there is no card reader, there is no full-size HDMI. Decide for yourself what is more important to you.

If CPU performance and qualitythe screen for you is more important than the supply of RAM for harsh multitasking, and 8-9 hours do not "break off" in comparison with 9-10 hours for competitors, this is a good candidate for the role of "quality laptop for everything."

Minuses

  • The version with 16 GB of RAM is badly lacking
