OnePlus 11 is the company's first smartphone to be updated within 5 years

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has revealed that the company is extending the support timeline for its

devices.

What is known

The new flagship OnePlus 11 will be the first smartphonebrand that will be supported for 5 years. We are talking about 4 years of Android operating system updates and 5 years of security patch updates. OnePlus 11 is currently running Android 13. That is, the device will definitely receive Android 14, Android 15, Android 16 and Android 17.

For those who are not in the know

OnePlus 11 debuted in China in early January.The global presentation of the novelty will take place on February 7. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display at 120Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 ROM, a 50MP + 32MP + 48MP Hasselblad camera and a 5000mAh battery with 100W charger.
