OnePlus 8 Pro may support wireless charging

OnePlus has once again announced flagships with incredible prices and characteristics. But despite

efforts to always offer customers the bestspecs, it keeps missing one favorite feature. Luckily, with the OnePlus 8 Pro, all that could change. Wireless charging can finally be added to the list of features.

Chinese brand still shies awaytechnology due to lack of efficiency and several problems with overheating. But with the popularity of this feature, it seems that OnePlus has finally succumbed to pressure from customers around the world.

It is known that in 2016 the company introducedits customers with fast wired charging by introducing Dash Charge, which provided “daily charging in half an hour.” This technology is now known as Warp Charge and has been updated several times since then — the latest iteration is known as Warp Charge 30T — which suggests OnePlus is going to use a similar strategy with wireless charging.

Wireless solutions are currently workingquite slowly, and only a few brands offer faster solutions, but OnePlus has been working on this feature for many years, so I hope it can take it one step further when the OnePlus 8. Pro launches.

In case you don't know, OnePlus 8 Pro is reportedlywill feature a 6.65-inch curved Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Undoubtedly, the increase in frequency will come at the expense of battery life, although the option to lower the refresh rate to 90Hz and 60Hz should be available to users. Regardless, this change will allow OnePlus to compete directly with Samsung and the 120Hz Galaxy S20 series.

In the camera department, OnePlus is also expected to make some changes. They will include an upgraded main camera in combination with the new wide-angle and 3x telephoto lenses.

They say that to better compete with moreexpensive flagships in the portrait department have used a ToF sensor. Inside the OnePlus phone is believed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. This chipset replaces the Snapdragon 855 and is also expected to power the Galaxy S20 and LG G9 ThinQ, among other devices. 8GB RAM and 128GB storage are rumored to be standard. Of course, more impressive configurations are expected with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to be officially released in April along with OnePlus 8 and the cheaper OnePlus 8 Lite.
