OPPO unveils its first S1 and R1 smart TVs with 4K starting at $ 500

Today, OPPO officially unveiled its first smart TVs, the S1 and R1.

OPPO S1

This is the flagship

model with a 65-inch diagonal screen.It has a QLED quantum dot panel with 210 backlight zones, 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate and 120% NTSC color space coverage. Support for Super HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10+ and HLG is also announced.

MediaTek MT9950 processor installed insidein tandem with 8.5 GB of RAM. The storage capacity is also impressive - 128 GB. In addition, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are supported, and there are also three HDMI 2.1 interfaces and two USB Type-A ports.

The TV's features include 1-second power-on, 18-speaker 5.1.2 audio system with Dolby Atmos support, a pop-up camera, and a remote control with NFC.

Sales of OPPO S1 in China will start on November 1, the TV will cost $1050.

OPPO R1

This is a cheaper line of TVs in whichincluded models with screen diagonals of 55 and 65 inches. Their resolution is 4K (3840×2160 pixels), they support HDR10+ and 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

The MediaTek MT9652 processor is used here,and the memory capacity is smaller - 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. The audio system is also simpler: a pair of 10 W speakers and Dolby Audio support. In addition, there is Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6, an HDMI 2.1 port and an NFC remote control, with which you can broadcast a picture from a smartphone on a large screen.

OPPO R1 TVs are already on sale in China. The 55-inch version costs about $500, the 65-inch version costs about $650.
