OPPO A53: 90Hz screen, 5000mAh battery, new Snapdragon 460 chip and $ 170 price tag

Chinese manufacturer OPPO has announced a new budget smartphone OPPO A53.

successor to OPPO A52.It has almost the same appearance, but the “filling” is radically different. The smartphone was the first on the market to be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, which was introduced at the beginning of this year. It has eight cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 610 video accelerator. The chip is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. The built-in storage can be expanded with a memory card up to 256 GB. By the way, the slot here is separate (two nano SIM + microSD).

OPPO A53 is also equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS screen.It has only HD+ resolution, but still boasts a 90Hz refresh rate. It looks like this is the cheapest device with such a high screen resolution. The display has a cutout in the left corner for the 16 MP front camera. The main camera in the smartphone is 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. The new product is powered by a large 5000 mAh battery. It supports 18W charging and charges via USB-C. Out of the box, the device is equipped with Android 10 OS and the proprietary ColorOS 7.2 shell.

Price and when to expect

The new product has already gone on sale in Indonesia in two colors and with a price tag of $170. There is no information yet when the device will reach our market.
