OPPO has quietly released two of its new smartphones to the market: OPPO A74 and OPPO A74 5G.
What is known
The devices are very similar in appearance, but at the same timediffer in characteristics. The regular OPPO A74 received a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display at 60 Hz with an under-screen scanner. The new product is powered by a Snapdragon 662 chip paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. The smartphone was also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast 33-watt charging (54% in 30 minutes), a USB-C port (USB 2.0), a headphone jack, a 16 MP front camera and a triple main camera with 48 MP + 2 sensors MP (depth sensor) + 2 MP (macro).

OPPO A74 5G, in turn, is differentSnapdragon 480 processor with built-in 5G modem. In addition, it received a display with the same diagonal, but with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an IPS matrix. Therefore, the fingerprint scanner moved to the side of the device. The 5G version also features 18-watt charging and an additional 8 MP wide-angle camera module. Other characteristics of the device remain the same.
Price and when to expect
New items have already begun to be sold in some Asian countries. OPPO A74 costs $255, and OPPO A74 5G costs $285.
Updated: OPPO A74 debuted in India with the name OPPO F19.
