Oppo announced a new smartphone with a "display-waterfall"

Oppo has revealed images of the smartphone's new display design, which it calls a "waterfall display."

What's special about it

Oppo has previously released smartphones with curvedscreen, for example Find X. But this time the sides of the display have gone even further and now bend at an angle of 88°. Thus, the frames on the sides completely disappeared, as did the volume button.

It looks really interesting, but for nowIt is not clear how convenient it will be to use and whether the side edges will respond to touch. Plus, Oppo will have to find a place for the power button and volume rocker.

In any case, it’s likely that we’ll see this design on one of the company’s new smartphones in the near future.
