OPPO unveils Wireless Air Charging that works over the air

How it works

The technology is called Wireless Air Charging,and her work was shown in a short video. A smartphone with a stretchable display, OPPO X 2021, which was presented at the end of last year, was used as a test subject.

The video shows that charging is working“by air”, that is, at a distance. Specific numbers are not indicated, but the distance between the gadget and the charger is about 10 cm. That is, you can safely hold the smartphone in your hands, and charging does not stop.

That being said, OPPO claims the charging power reaches 7.5W.
