Despite its advanced age, the isometric action RPG Path of Exile is extremely popular
Last week, Grinding Gear Games released the Crucible update, which added so much new content that the game broke its popularity record!
What is known
According to the official Path of Exile Twitter account, 321,000 people were in the game at the same time, of which, according to the SteamDB service, 211,637 people played through Steam.
Path of Exile: Crucible hit a new record of 321,180 concurrent players, beating our previous record by over 50,000 concurrent players.

The shareware game continues to evolve andattract more and more players. Path of Exile 2 is coming soon with even more mechanics and creative ideas, so we can expect the new game to become even more popular and could become a serious competitor for Diablo IV.
