On devices with 3D Touch and Haptic Touch, the gesture can be used throughout the system to view information about objects and their options. Luckily, there's a new free jailbreak tweakPeekableadds this feature to all iOS devices.

For example, holding the image in the browser, you will open a menu with options available for the image. The function will work throughout the system, but the options will vary in different applications.

After installing the Peekable tweak, a new section with its options will appear in the Settings.

There is also a respring button for applying changes.

It is worth noting that this tweak does not add 3D Touch functions to the home screen, but it supports A12 (X) devices, for which jailbreak is already available.

If you are interested in the Peekable tweak, you can download it for free from the Packix repository in Cydia or Sileo.
