The 2018 agreement provides for the supply ofsix attack helicopters in three batches of two units. Two T129 ATAK helicopters arrived in the Philippines in March last year, and by the end of autumn, TAI sent a couple more aircraft.

The two remaining helicopters are expected to bedelivered in 2024. The deal amounted to $280 million. How many T292 ATAK the Philippines plans to receive as part of an additional order is not specified at the moment.
T129 ATAK is an attack helicopter equipped withtriple-barreled guns of 20 mm caliber in the bow. It can carry Roketsan CİRİT, AIM-92 Stinger, Mistral, AIM-9 Sidewinder, AGM-114 Hellfire, BGM-71 TOW, Hydra 70, Spike-ER, UMTAS and OMTAS unguided missiles.

The maximum takeoff weight of the helicopter is 5tons. T129 ATAK is equipped with a power plant with two LHTEC CTS800-4A engines with a power of 1014 kW. The maximum speed of the helicopter is 278 km / h, cruising - 269 km / h, range - 561 km, and cruising range - 1000 km. T129 ATAK climbs at a speed of 14 m / s, and the service ceiling reaches 6.1 km.
