Phone scammers began to "call" Russians for a special operation

said that in Russia the share of fraudulent calls has begun to grow again. After the start of the special operation, the frequency of calls decreased, but is now gaining momentum again. Discuss

According to the data provided by Namestnikova, before the start of the special operation, the share of fraudulent calls was 11%, after February 24 - 9%. But now scammers call in 13% of cases.

There are two main scenarios.On behalf of the military commissars, they call the parents of young people of draft age and demand a ransom so that their children are not sent to the NVO zone. The second scenario is a deception with the situation around the SWIFT system: allegedly, in order to save money, it is necessary to transfer all foreign currency savings to a safe account.

“They call mom or dad, introduce themselves as a military commissar andthey blackmail: “Transfer so much money or tomorrow your son will be taken to the army and sent, you know where,” the specialist warned about the scheme of fraudsters.
