Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are very similar to theirolder brothers: the same plastic case, the same distinctive insert in the upper part of the back cover. But the Pixel 3a XL didn’t inherit the “unibrow”—it’s not in fashion these days. Instead, we got quite wide frames.

The new models differ from each other only in screen size: the Pixel 3a has a 5.6-inch display, the Pixel 3a XL has a 6-inch. Both are OLED with Full HD+ resolution.
What's inside
Both smartphones received a Qualcomm processorSnapdragon 670 with Adreno 615 graphics accelerator, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. But the battery capacity is different: the younger model has 3000 mAh, the older model has 3700 mAh. There is also 18W fast charging.

The main camera here is single, but howPractice shows that there is only one warrior in the field, and in the case of Google, another warrior. Like the Pixel 3, it has a 12.2-megapixel Sony IMX363 (f/1.8) sensor with optical and electronic image stabilization systems. The functions are also preserved: Top Shot, Super Res Zoom and Night Sight, as well as unlimited storage in Google Photos. Let us remind you that this is the best single camera in the DxOMark rating.
But the front camera is no longer double - there is only one 8-megapixel sensor (f/2.0).
There is also NFC, a fingerprint scanner,Active Edge technology, which can recognize clicks on the side edges and Android 9.0 Pie OS with three years of support, including updates and new versions of the system.

How many?
Google Pixel 3a will cost $399, Pixel 3a XL -$479. Their predecessors cost much more at the start of sales - $800 and $900. Therefore, Google calls the new models the cheapest “pixels” for a reason. Sales start today. There are three colors to choose from: white, black and pale pink.
