Back in 2013, when the iPhone 5S was introduced, an epic began with the transition of smartphones to 64-bit chipsets.
A year later, HTC Desire 510 became the firstAndroid smartphone in the 64-bit race, but all this time the devices supported work with both 32-bit and 64-bit applications. Now, more than 8 years later, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are the first Android solutions to exclusively support 64-bit apps. Moreover, Google itself did not advertise this fact in any way, but this fact was discovered by the famous enthusiast Mishaal Rahman. This means you won't be able to run 32-bit applications on them (like the hit Flappy Bird).
It is noted that the Tensor G2 chipset itself is capable ofexecute 32-bit instructions, but Google decided not to implement their support, which, in theory, can have a positive impact on the security and performance of the OS.
