Remember Pokémon GO?How people walked the streets and "caught" Pokémon...

Niantic, the studio behind Pokémon GO, decided to

repeat the success and announced a similar game, but this time in the Monster Hunter franchise.

What is known

Monster Hunter Now is a free-to-play mobile AR game that involves walking the streets in search of monsters from Capcom's popular fantasy universe.

The principle of Monster Hunter Now is largely identical to Pokémon GO, but there are also features. For example, you can go “hunting” in a group of up to four people, you can mark the found monsters and defeat them at home.

Of course, despite the fact that the game is free, in Monster Hunter Now there is where to spend money through microtransactions.

When to expect

Monster Hunter Now is scheduled to launch in September 2023. The game will be available on iOS and Android.

Beta testing of the project will begin on April 25th. To participate in it, you need to register on the official website.
