Popular Xiaomi smartphones will receive MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in October - official list published

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 12.5 Enhanced firmware in early August along with the flagship Mix 4. First wave

updates swept about a dozen modelson Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 888+ chips. Now the manufacturer has published a list of smartphones that will receive stable MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in the second stage.

The second batch will include seven devices of the mid-budget and budgetary levels. Chinese users will be the first to receive the update. As part of the next phase, Xiaomi will update the following models:

  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth
  • Redmi Note 10 5G
  • Redmi Note 10 Pro
  • Redmi Note 9 4G / 5G
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
  • Redmi note 8

The firmware will be based on the Android 11 operating system. The second stage of the update distribution is scheduled for October 8th.
