Porsche has developed a next-generation lighting system with new HD matrix technology
Of these LED chips, two are used foreach headlight, a total of four per car. The headlights with HD matrix technology thus provide a high-resolution light distribution. It is four times larger than previous systems.

The developers note uniform lighting, which works in different modes - lane lighting, adaptive high beam for highways and more. The maximum light range is 600 meters.
At the same time, oncoming cars will not be harmed. In such cases, the driver can use the “anti-dazzle high beam” function. In this mode, the areas to the right and left of a certain gap become brighter than those in the middle. As a result, the driver controls the distribution of light, “ensuring the best visibility in any situation,” according to the company’s blog.
