The application is available for free in the App Store andcompatible with most, but not all games. Unfortunately, the DualShock 4 gamepad cannot be used with the app, since iOS only supports MFi certification. The application has all the same buttons as on conventional gamepads.
In addition to games, the Remote Play application can be used to display the PlayStation user interface on a mobile device for easier navigation.
The application allows the use of a microphone built into the device for voice chats and an iOS keyboard for text input.
The Remote Play app supports iOS 12.1 and later.
Your iOS and PlayStation 4 device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. On the mobile Internet, the application does not work.
The application supports all devices, starting with iPhone 7, iPad Pro 2 generation and iPad 6 generation.
