Psychological qualities of extremists named

Researchers from the USA and Great Britain named the psychological qualities of people prone to extremist

actions.

Experts studied a study involving 522Human. These individuals completed 37 cognitive tasks and completed 22 surveys in 2016 and 2017. The researchers in the new work also tested 334 people from the old study.

Researchers with a penchant for extremismtied political conservatism and nationalism. They saw that these qualities correlated with caution in decision making. Conservative people and nationalists were more purposeful and sensitive to rewards. They also took less social risks.

People inclined to extremism also haveweaker working memory, which is responsible for the temporary storage of information. They also processed changing stimuli more slowly, such as shape and color.

In addition, people who are prone to extremism are more prone to thrill seeking. It is difficult to convince them of anything.
