PUBG officially banned in India

The game's publisher Studio Krafton confirmed the removal of the game in India and demanded an explanation. Shares of the South Korean company fell 9%.

Supposedly banning Battlegrounds MobileIndia is connected with the fact that gamers' data goes to Chinese servers, which can threaten the safety of users. Krafton confirmed the fact of sending data to third-party servers, but with the assertion that everything is happening legally.

“Like other mobile games and applications,Battlegrounds Mobile India uses third party solutions to provide unique gaming features. In the process of using these solutions, some game data is transferred to third parties, ”said a Krafton representative.
