RotorX engineers presented a project for a manned multicopter. The model was called Dragon and it will be
eVTOLelectric vertical take-off and landing) is an electric aircraft with a vertical take-off and landing system, a type of VTOL (vertical take-off and landing aircraft that uses electricity to hover, take off and land vertically).
RotorX engineers suggest usingcoaxial octacopter layout with eight propellers and 16 kW electric motors for each of them. The company said the maximum flight time is about 20 minutes and the maximum pilot weight can be 113 kg.

For safety, the Dragon is equipped with a ballisticparachute. Representatives of the company said that the multicopter qualifies as ultralight. And, therefore, users do not need a pilot's license to fly it.
