Qualcomm and Tencent announced that they will cooperate on a variety of projects, including 5G gaming devices.
As part of its cooperation companyare going to add 5G to the smartphone ASUS ROG Phone II, which uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus and which Tencent sells in China. The fast mobile connection will help Tencent realize plans for the Instant Play gaming service.
Qualcomm and Tencent also plan to optimize the performance of games such as King of Glory, Crossfire and Game for Peace on their Snapdragon Elite gaming chips.
"Mobile games are an important example of using 5G,and they will soon benefit from the next generation connectivity. Higher speed, greater bandwidth and low latency will allow you to enjoy the game in real time, ”said Frank Meng, head of Qualcomm.
